Meeting the Challenge of Change 2.0
The first presentation Lauren Bernardi ever conducted for OMHRA was in 1996. The conference theme was “Meeting the Challenge of Change” (she still has the flyer). Her dad, a member of what was then known as the Ontario Municipal Personnel Association was retiring as Director of Personnel for the City of Sault Ste. Marie. It felt like the passing of the baton.
Fast forward 27 years and we are again (or still) talking about change, including the shift in how we lead people and create great workplace cultures.
The session will demonstrate the critical connection between psychological health and safety in the workplace and HR initiatives for:
- Managing remote and hybrid work
- Promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion; and
- Creating a respectful and harassment-free workplace
The session will incorporate a world café so that participants can share their knowledge and experience. The world café is a highly interactive and collaborative format that will allow participants to engage with and learn from each other in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Participants will be able to connect with others who are facing similar challenges and explore practical solutions for creating a better workplace culture.
