Municipal workplaces sit at the crossroads of politics, public accountability, and community values, and that pressure doesn’t stay outside the office. This workshop helps HR leaders spot the moment public conflict, council dynamics, polarized issues, or election-year tension start affecting staff psychological safety. Participants learn to recognize early warning signs, strengthen psychological protection, and support leaders in reinforcing civility and role boundaries. Practical strategies for addressing fear of speaking up, retaliation concerns, and other harmful dynamics round out the session.
